That Spell, Out Now!
Hey friends! I can’t believe the day has finally arrived and I can say that my full length album, That Spell is out and available everywhere! Making this album was a special experience because for the first time in a while I didn’t feel a rush to get it done. I was able to isolate myself at a small studio in Ashland, Nebraska and make this record with my brother David and my engineer James over the course of six months. The time we spent there making music was a safe place away from the stress of what felt like the world falling apart. While this album was made during quarantine, it is not a quarantine record. It is an album about my childhood, the inequality I’ve seen around me, historical figures, climate change, poems I’ve read, and so much more. Thank you so much for listening!
